Assembly

We email and post instructions with your order catered to your design. They are fairly basic instructions because the principle of how the Evolvex system is put together is similar across all our range, so we present you with an exploded view of your design to show you where each piece goes, and using our 'twist, pop and lock' assembly methodology you shouldn't have too many issues putting it all together. If you still having trouble don't worry, get in touch and we'll talk you through the process. If you're on Skype you can make a video appointment with us and we'll demonstrate what you need to do.

E0 Board

E0 board is a pre-finished board that has no formaldehyde content so is free from toxic emissions. Increasingly now Australian commercial grade office furniture is made from E0 board. The consumer market however is not as regulated and the board in imported furniture can be up to E4!

The risk of contracting cancer and organ failure increase when you are exposed to Formaldehyde. It’s quite nasty and is one of the causes of ‘sick building syndrome’. This is why the Green Building movement in Australia is becoming more mainstream. We suggest you do your own research on the topic as what we have given is a guide only however our stance is that we’d like you to be healthy and safe around your furniture and we consider our product to be ‘organic furniture’. We’re happy to provide all the certificates to verify our claim.

Gift Vouchers

We have a variety of different options available to suit your budget – or you can even create your own amount.

To purchase one go to the ‘Gift Voucher’ category of the store and select your option. You will be sent a PDF of the voucher for you to pass on to your recipient. Remember to advise your gift recipient to treat our gift vouchers like cash as they can only be used once. Please read the gift voucher section of our terms and conditions for more information.

Refunds and Returns

If for any reason you wish to return your product you are more than welcome to do so within 90 days of receiving it. We want you to feel confident and happy to buy from us so we will accept our product back if you do change your mind. We will issue you a refund open receipt of the product provided it’s in the brand new condition that left our warehouse, with no defects. We are totally fine for you to unbox the item and see how it looks like in your intended space however we won't accept back any items that have been used.

If your return is due to a defect, please send us an email within 3 days of receipt to contactus@evolvex.com. We need your order number, name, best contact number, a photo of the damage and a detailed description of the issue. Please read our terms and conditions policy for the process of damaged product. When we receive your product and conclude it’s a manufacturing defect, we will remake the damaged part and send it back to you free of charge. You will need to ensure that the item is sent in its original condition and packaging – we cannot accept items that have been used or soiled further.

COST OF RETURNS

If you wish to return an item because you changed your mind we will reimburse you 100% of the item cost, however not the original or return shipping. Because we're selling furniture at a low margin (so we can pass savings onto our consumer) we are not in a financial position to support free shipping both ways as clothing or accessories e-tailers would. We're definitely look at ways we can save shipping costs, especially where it concerns returns and will update this page with any improvements we make!

If you wish to return the item because its of a manufacturing defect please email us first with a report of the damage – contactus@evolvex.com. We will then advise next steps. We will certainly replace damaged parts free of charge - due to the modular nature of the product we don’t need you to ship the whole thing back if it’s just one part that is defective. Your happiness is important to us so please provide us with feedback if you are unhappy with the process and we'll do what we can to turn that frown upside down!

CANCELLING AN ORDER

You can cancel or amend an order up to 24 hours after confirming your purchase.

Please email us at contactus@evolvex.com and provide us with your order number as well as a detailed description of amendments or instructions for cancellation. We cannot cancel or amend any orders after 24 hours of your initial checkout as your job will be in the production process.

Delivery

COSTS

It really depends on the items you pick and where you live. We have a freight calculator which is in the ‘cart’ page so you can keep track of spend.

We delivery Australia wide including remote regional areas. We're aware costs can get quite high the more the remote the location is so we are doing what we can to see how we can bring those costs down.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We definitely can ship outside Australia but the process is a little bit manual at the moment as our shipping calculator is geared towards Australia only.

To get a quote on costs, emailcontactus@evolvex.com or post on our facebook/tweet to us for your shipping rate. We advise it will take 15-20 working days from dispatch to reach you. Dispatch can take up to 10 working days as we make some components to order rather than keep stock. This keeps our storage costs down and we allows us to pass a better saving onto you.

As a guide NZ will be $200-300 more than Australia. The rest will depend on your country.

Our plan for 2012-14 is to expand our international operations so we can ship locally rather than ship orders from Australia to the rest of the world. Please subscribe to our newsletter to be up to date with a distribution centre in your nearest country.

TAXES AND CUSTOMS DUTIES

This applies to orders outside Australia. Our Goods & Services Tax (GST) is included in the product cost.

Any additional taxes or duties for international clients will depend on where order is being shipped and how large your order was. Most countries including USA, and South Korea allow free trade over the Internet and will not charge any taxes or duties for small packages entering the country. Please contact us if you are making a large order.

For all orders shipped to the UK, Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland and Spain all relevant import taxes and duties will be charged for in your final cost however please contact us if you are from one of these countries to get the final price.

If you are shipping to a Delivery Duty Unpaid country, the price of your final purchase will be exclusive of all taxes and duties. As the recipient, you are then liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to.

Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot tell you what the cost of this would be as customs and import duties vary widely for different countries. Please check with your local customs office for current charges so you are aware of what you may have to pay to release your orders.

TRACKING ORDERS

As a registered Evolvex user, you can view the status of your order in your account page which will be updated throughout the production and delivery process so you are kept in the loop.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will be issued with a tracking code which should give you accurate information on the whereabouts of the item. In regional areas this information may not be as exact to the minute but if you have any concerns or troubles please get in touch.

We take up to 10 days to dispatch as we make some parts to order rather than keep stock. If you have any concerns or need to rush an order through please email us and we'll try to find ways to accomodate your request.

DELIVERY TIME

As some parts are made to order we advise it can take up to 10 working days to dispatch. After this it will depend on your location – if you are in metro areas (Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide) then we estimate it could be 3-4 days after dispatch.

Regional areas could be up to a week longer.

DELIVERY METHODS

Due to the size, weight and value of our product we use a national network of couriers to fulfill orders. This way orders are trackable and we know they would be carefully handled.

Please subscribe to our newsletter to receive an alert when our new and faster shipping methods are released. As a key priority we are definitely looking at ways we can reduce the delivery cost and our fulfillment times.

REQUEST DELIVERY DATE

Email us or give us a call and we’ll definitely try and assist in scheduling your order on a particular day. We can't guarantee the time as it depends on the driver's schedule and other orders.

Payment and Privacy

PAYMENT OPTIONS

We accept Visa, MasterCard and Paypal. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and we deal with Australian currency. We will look to offering multiple currencies in the future.

We don’t accept cash or cheque.

HOW WE HANDLE CREDIT CARD INFORMATION

We use the NAB and Paypal payment gateways and do not store your credit card information on our servers. Your personal online security is very important to us. We use Rapid Secure Socket Layer (RapidSSL) encryption technology to process your personal and credit card information through our secure checkout system.

This encrypts and protects the data you send to us over the internet. If SSL is enabled, you will see a padlock at the top of your browser and you can click on this to find out information about the SSL digital certificate registration.

You will also notice that when you look at the location (URL) field at the top of the browser you will see it begin with 'https:' instead of the normal 'http:'. This means that you are in secure mode

HOW WE HANDLE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We have a comprehensive terms and conditions which includes our privacy policy. Please read it here and should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Your privacy is very important to us and its super critical you feel safe while shopping with us.

In short we only collect the information we need to process your order and keep in touch. We do not sell the information or use it in any way other than that which you have given us permission for.

Custom Dimensions

I can't seem to design what I want on your tool, can I send you information about what I want for you to custom quote?

Yes! We can definitely do custom dimensions! All you need to do is email us at contactus at evolvex.com with a description, colour and sketch of what you want and we'll shoot through a custom quote. This is for Australian based customers only.
